Current GHAA properties are located between 3.5 and 8 hours’ drive from the Gold Coast and Brisbane. All of the properties are working family farms and members are assisting our farmer partners in control of feral and pest animals that are causing significant damage to their properties.
Members have access to:
Hand held UHF radios and GPS are mandatory on all club properties.
Information on property is covered in great detail in the GHAA Hunter Education Course. Included are protocols with the landowner, property specific details such as accommodation, vehicle requirements, along with map references, emergency protocols, etc.
Are you a landholder?
If you are a landowner experiencing feral pest problems (deer, pigs, goats, fox, etc.) please contact our club committee. They will be only too pleased to demonstrate the benefits to you in dealing with a highly organised, adequately insured and ethical association of keen people with interests similar to yours.
GHAA has a core of very experienced members who have extensive Feral and Pest animal control experience and can design programs to suit your needs
Our members all undergo a vetting and training process before being allowed to participate in any GHAA programs on private property.
